Today I really wanted to bake something, but that something also had to be easy and quick. Standing in the Albert Heijn XL Supermarket I could not find the American Carrot Cake mix that I thought would be there. Instead I noticed that there was a box with a ready made cake mix.
So simple it was frightening. Selma, my 7 year old daughter, helped me out. We removed the cover of the cake mix, added 125ml milk and stirred it with a fork. Then we put the cake in it’s special paper coated cooking form in the oven.
About 45 mins later the oven reminded us that it was time to take the cake out of the oven.
I made topping with creamcheese, butter, icing sugar and Selma requested purple colouring. This is really a nice and easy cake to cook and the taste was great! We will have to test the chocolate one some time soon.
