Fruit salad, what is your favourite mix?

1 Jun

Fruit salad is one of the easiest desserts to make and takes almost no time to prepare. Everybody has a preference or favourite fruit, what is your favourite mix? Or do you have a secret ingredient that makes the salad special? My husband always add a couple of tablespoons of Tunisian Rose water or Orange-Blossom water. It took me a while to appreciate the somewhat unusual taste but now I love it too!

Sophie Dahl – BBC Show

30 Mar

Sophie Dahl, former plus size model, has a bright and inspiring cooking show on the BBC. Sophie is a delight to watch, she really knows her stuff. If you have BBC tune in next Tuesday evening to catch her in action. I wish I did buy her book when I saw it in the bookstore last year, oh well another one for the wish list!

Funny enough I found this video snippet on YouTube from the show that was on tonight! Enjoy.

Would the real macaron please stand up?

3 Mar
